Bev's Homemade Ice Cream in Carytown is the perfect example. Bev's has been serving Richmond for decades, and the loyalty runs deep. Twice, Ben & Jerry's tried to set up shop nearby. Twice, it didn't last. Not because anyone pushed them out, but because Richmond already had its spot. That's the kind of loyalty that makes this city different.
